Practice Overview

The Beginning

Early on, Dr. Hergert practiced as part of a group practice in McKinney, Texas from 1998-1999. At a time when managed care and single doctor offices were the norm, Dr. Hergert moved to the Northeast Tarrant County area in late 1999, and opened Chiropractic Care Center in 2000. Dr. Hergert had a different vision, and despite limited resources and a young family to support, he established Chiropractic Care Center in Southlake as an attractive suite in a modern professional building. From the beginning, the focus ofDr. Hergert’s system of Chiropractic care was to provide the quality conservative and non‐surgical treatment for disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system, disorders which are today known as Neuromusculoskeletal (NMS) conditions. The system worked by combining traditional Chiropractic in combination with the best new treatments in technologies available.

Patient Service

Patients were excited about the difference. Chiropractic Care Center quickly grew and became one of the largest Chiropractic clinics in the area. Over the years, Chiropractic Care Center has served close to 4,000 patients. Combining the best that traditional chiropractic has to offer with today’s technology, Chiropractic Care Center is able to offer a level of service that is second to none.

Community Outreach

Community outreach has always been important at Chiropractic Care Center. The Chiropractic Care Center doctors and staff have strived to be active participants in the community. Chiropractic Care Center has provided free children’s clinics and always provided considerable charitable Chiropractic care for those in need. Over the years, Dr. Hergert and Chiropractic Care Center have supported the local schools through various educational foundations and fundraisers, held multiple food-drives benefiting local food banks, organized toy drives with the Salvation Army, and provided special gifts for our Veterans. Chiropractic Care Center has sponsored many local clubs, activities, and athletic teams.

The Future

Today, Dr. Hergert continues his work to improve conservative and non‐surgical care available for patients with Neuromusculoskeletal conditions, searching for new treatments and technologies and implementing the improvements. In June, 2016, Dr. Hergert was elected President for the Texas Chiropractic Association, where he works to protect patients’ healthcare rights and to expand the role of conservative care for the future. The pace of change is increasing and the future certainly looks bright.
